Meet a few of our alumni from across all our programs who are busy working in their chosen fields and beyond.


  • MUSICAL THEATRE 2018

    Caleb Lagayan (he/they) is an actor based in London, UK, and has performed professionally all over the world. Caleb is a proud graduate of Capilano University and The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.

    Recent credits include: Prince Chulalongkorn in The King and I (U.K./International Tour) and 1st Cover Marius in Les Miserables (U.K./International Tour), making him the first BIPOC actor to appear as Marius in the United Kingdom.

    Caleb will be making his West End Debut as Prince Chulalongkorn in Bartlett Sher’s The King and I at the Dominion Theatre (January 2024).


  • ACTING FOR STAGE & SCREEN 2017

    Born and raised in beautiful British Columbia, Jennifer started performing as a kid and after journeying through musical theatre, high school drama and improv, she found and fell in love with film. After graduating from Capilano’s Acting for Stage & Screen program in 2017, she’s been working as a professional actor.

    Select credits include Grand Army (Netflix), DC's Legends of Tomorrow (The CW), The Good Doctor (ABC), Fire Country (CBS), So Help me Todd (CBS) and FAKES (CBC Gem/Netflix). When she's not in front of a camera, you can find her doing improv at Tightrope Theatre, exploring the local gastronomy and indulging in the Pacific Northwest. She’s a big believer in shooting for the stars and following your passion! Go for it!

  • TECHNICAL THEATRE 2021

    Stephanie (she/her) is a proud graduate from CapU and the University of British Columbia. After graduating, Stephanie has been busy building props and stage managing in Vancouver. She is grateful for having endless support from friends, family and teachers, including Heidi Wilkinson, who helped her emerge in the Vancouver theatre scene.

    Selected prop credits include: The Wizard of Oz (CTORA), Matilda (TUTS), The Prom (TUTS), Something Rotten! (TUTS), We Will Rock You (TUTS), A Midsummer Night's Dream (Bard on the Beach), Romeo and Juliet (Bard on the Beach), Oil (UBC), Done/Undone (Bard on the Beach), Frosted (Deep Cove Stage), Secret in the Wings (CapU) and The Relapse (Arbutus Studio). Selected stage manager credits include: Little Shop of Horrors (Arts Club), Beautiful: The Carole King Musical (Arts Club), The Birds (UBC), Into the Woods (CapU), and A Chorus Line (CapU).

    Stephanie is thankful for the recognition she has received, including the Mike Jarvis Memorial Scholarship, the Irving K Barber Scholarship, the Trek Excellence Scholarship and the Rising Star Internship Award from TUTS. Check out more of Stephanie’s work on Instagram @propsbysteph.
