Who We Are

CapU Theatre is comprised of over twenty faculty members; support staff who work in the Blueshore Centre for Performing Arts, the School of Performing Arts Office and the Office of the Dean of the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts; and over two-hundred students in eleven cohorts across three different programs. Our department often collaborates with the School of Motion Picture Arts and the Costuming Department.

Theatre classes take place on Capilano’s main campus in North Vancouver. Our spaces include three dedicated studios (including a dance studio and a film/tv recording studio), private voice studios, the Blueshore, and the Arbutus Studio.

We are brought together by a shared passion for theatre, film, and performance. Together, our work is fuelled by curiosity, collaboration and imagination.
