Julius Caesar
By William Shakespeare
A political thriller about power and betrayal.
A modern-day capital city of the most powerful country in the world. A general returns home who commands not only armies but a near-fanatical popularity with the people. This adulation Caesar enjoys disturbs others, however—politicians, other generals, and even his friends worry he may become a tyrant. They hatch a plot to assassinate him.
It’s for the greater good, after all.
A relentless political thriller, Julius Caesar explores the question of how far is too far to defeat a political rival, while taking the audience on a wild ride through the halls of power, prophecy, and the devastation of war.
